How does Rowen ensure 100% offline data privacy?
Rowen stores your calculation strips, steppers, formula expressions, and entry history strictly on your physical device using local SQLite. Ledger numbers are never transmitted to external cloud servers.
How do iCloud backups work?
When enabled in Settings, encrypted database snapshots are written to your personal Apple iCloud container (CloudDocuments). Only your Apple ID has access to decrypt and restore these files.
How do iOS Home Screen & Lock Screen Widgets work?
Rowen integrates with native iOS WidgetKit. Real-time ledger numbers and pinned strips are synchronized with the shared App Group container so your Home Screen widgets stay current without opening the app.
When will Rowen be available on the iOS App Store?
Rowen is undergoing final verification and App Store review. It will be available worldwide on the App Store soon.
